Ok, this is seriously the best $300 I've ever spent. I love, love, love this fantastic piece of technology. It's revolutionized my life, and freed up a lot of time away from my computer. I adore being able to check my email accounts, twitter, the WMBYS web site, my stocks etc. Yay for the internet fitting in my pocket!
So, my fellow iPhone geeks....what's your favorite application? I'm a newbie, so tell me your favorite thing you do with your iPhone. :)

hmmmmm I love Jott...is fun as hell...and aim so i can stay in touch with people....
One of the apps I downloaded is called Shazam. It identifies recorded music by title and artist. I know there's another app that claims you can hum or sing a little bit of a song and it'll identify it as well as identifying recorded music but I don't know how well that works and Shazam works almost every time. It isn't a terribly useful app but it's just amazing to me what my iPhone can DO. Srsly. I also have a Flickr app called Exposure, which is pretty handy and I have the MySpace app, which is good but a little buggy.
I like the beer one
I dont have a favorite becuz I DON;T HAVE AN IPHONE! But...on Michael's iPhone I like the restaurant one and the one where you hold the iphone up to a radio and it recognizes the song.
I *actually* have the iPod touch, but that means I can use, like, 90% of the apps out there... I like "Cocktails". It's funny, 'cause I like to cook, but I wouldn't dream of spending $10 for a cookbook application... But a cocktail recipe compendium at my fingertips? Apparently, that's worth it.
I found your blog 'cause I follow your Twitter feed (I'm Abashima there) and saw this post.
I posted a gaggle of "best of" apps on my blog on August 3rd (they're separate posts so you'll have to browse by day, alas).
Anyway, here are a some to choose from:
